Fiercely Free Friday

Smiling is something that most of us do every day—often without even realizing it. And though psychology professionals might tell you this behavior is most often a sign of happiness, there's more to smile than you might think. Being intentional to put practices in place to support my overall wellness put a halt to the things the adversary tried to rob me of and restored my joy, peace, and happiness. Unapologetically incorporating things that God desires and trusting Him has reminded me of all the battles He has won just for me and that I already have the victory.

When I think of the things I have gone through, the wounds and heartaches I have endured as a part of my assignment, the joys in between that have taught me how to be grateful and trust His process in my waiting have ushered me into a realm of patient contentment. Learning to be intentional to what I choose to give my attention to has been revolutionary.

After my morning devotional, ran out, took care of some happy errands, driving with the window down, enjoying the nice breeze and music playing. One of my worship jams in my playlist came on....' Smile' by Jonathan McReynolds! Let me tell you, listening to the lyrics and thinking about the awesomeness of God and the dimension of wellness flowing, all I could do was laugh out loud and smile! Now, I'm back in my space, turning my living room into the Life Room with PRAISE!

May I encourage you to take a moment to appreciate that we have the Great I Am that I Am on our side. I proudly give Him a shout of praise! I pray that knowing this will cause a big, happy smile on your face.
