Peace. How do you maintain stability amid everything that could go wrong? What about the highs and the lows, the ups and the downs, and the uncertainty? Or, when everything, and I mean everything, is topsy-turvy? Finally, are you challenged in maintaining peace during those difficult moments with your children? Your spouse? Your relationships? And, what about those valley points when you feel overwhelmed? Do you throw up your hands and give up, or do you fiercely pursue the very heart of peace that surpasses all understanding?

The word pursue is a verb, and to pursue something means to actively chase after it, follow it, or seek it out. We are reminded in Psalm 34:14 to "Seek peace, and pursue it." Peace is something that we are to actively chase after, to follow, and to seek out.
