Over the last several days, I have been seeking God for a word of wisdom and encouragement He wanted to impart to us. He gently whispered, ‘Be still; it’s coming in My time.’ As stated, at His appointed time, He sent His Word. He encouraged me with a reminder to tell you that you matter to Him. He has not, by any means, forsaken you. What some of you may be experiencing is not meant to devalue you in any way. Instead, it is a part of your equipping process…UNTIL!!!!
As I reflected on how the Holy Spirit led my Senior Pastor, Dr. Paul R. Lee, to minister an excellent thought-provoking perspective on UNTIL to UNTO, it reminded me of the process of equipping. When we discipline ourselves to be still, we silence the noise around us and can hear God. What distinctly resonated with me was what God had been downloading–that we be intentionally mindfully aware that nothing is going on in our lives that He is not well aware of and, in fact, in complete control of. If He has you in a place of PAUSE, you can rejoice as it’s for a purpose – HIS!
While you may feel alone, feel abandoned, or even overlooked, it’s just that - a feeling. God promises in His Word that He will NEVER leave you; NEVER will HE forsake you. Yes, you can be confidently assured of this as our God cannot lie, and He keeps His promises.
‘The gatekeeper opens the gate to him, and the sheep recognize his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he gets them all out, he leads them, and they follow because they are familiar with his voice.’ – John 10:3
Be encouraged that you matter so much to God that He knows you by name.
